Filtration Column

The Filtration Column uses a chemical molecular sieve to reduce the characteristic odour of LPG gases such as propane and butane while also providing controlled gas storage. Constructed with Schedule 40 thick-walled piping, it offers enhanced pressure resistance and safety, particularly under elevated temperatures where gas pressure can increase significantly. This robust construction helps prevent pipe failure and ensures reliable, safe operation.

The Filtration Column is designed for LPG treatment and buffer storage. It uses a chemical molecular sieve to reduce odour-causing impurities present in LPG, primarily propane and butane. It also provides backup gas storage, helping maintain a continuous supply to the machinery. The C-Glass construction offers a comparatively thinner pipe wall than Schedule 40, providing a lighter and more economical construction where suitable for the operating conditions.
